The passage through states of experience, the land of non-places, the encounter with the space of qualities and their embodiment through art. In the works of 'Landscapes of the Unknown' Hrachya Vardanyan turns inner passages outward in the longing for orientation. His felt need to overcome common definitions of culture, art and identity creates junctions into the unknown. An inner mapping of the sky that encourages entering one's own comfort zone as a stranger and reminds one how one's own saliva tastes when one safely surrenders to the seduction of the flashing stars.
